Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikos Christodoulides and Austria’s Minister for the European Union and Constitution Karoline Edtstadler will hold a tete-a-tete meeting and consultations Thursday in Nicosia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a press release Wednesday.
The two Ministers are expected to exchange views on issues related to the preparation of the forthcoming General Affairs Council to be held in September, focusing on the priorities set by the Slovenian Presidency of the Council of the EU, on the ongoing coordination of the Member States for a more effective management of the pandemic, on the EU’s relations with third countries, including with Turkey, and on current issues of special interest such as migration, enlargement and the Conference on the Future of Europe, the press release reads.
