Foreign Minister, Nikos Christodoulides, had a meeting, on Thursday, in Nicosia with the European External Action Service (EEAS) Managing Director for Europe, Angelina Eichhorst.
The Foreign Minister said, in a post on Twitter, that their discussions focused in particular on the latest developments in relation to the Cyprus problem and on the illegal activities of Turkey in fenced area of Varosha and in the EEZ of Cyprus.
Cyprus has been divided since 1974 when Turkish troops invaded and occupied the island`s northern third.
