The EU27 leaders adopted Thursday night conclusions on Turkey, offering phased, proportionate and reversible positive agenda and calling for a comprehensive settlement of the Cyprus problem on the basis of a bicommunal, bizonal federation with political equality, in accordance with the relevant UNSC resolutions.
More specifically, the text adopted by the EUCO is the following
14. The European Council reverted to the situation in the Eastern Mediterranean and the European Union`s relations with Turkey, and recalled the EU`s strategic interest in a stable and secure environment in the Eastern Mediterranean and in the development of a cooperative and mutually beneficial relationship with Turkey.
