Cyprus tops Medal List after day three of the GSSE in Malta

Cyprus has topped the medal list following the third day of the Games of the Small Games of Europe 2023 taking place in Malta.

So far Cyprus’ medal tally has reached 38, 14 gold, 10 silver and 14 bronze medals. The host country, Malta follows with 29 medals in total and Luxemburg completes the top 3 with 26 medals.

Yesterday, Cyprus garnered 3 gold, 2 silver and one bronze medals in swimming.

Marina Erokina took top honours in Women’s 200 m Breaststroke, Marinos Louka in Mens 100m Butterfly and Anna Hadjloizou in the same Women’s discipline garnered Gold Medals for the Cypriot colours.

Filippos Savvides clinched silver in Men’s 100m Backstroke, while Cyprus took silver in the Men’s 4X200 Frestyle Relay final.

Panayiotis Panaretos took bronze in Men’s 200m Breaststroke.
