Cyprus Health Ministry on Thursday announced one death from COVID and 2.815 new cases. In public hospitals 198 patients are getting treatment and 64.15% are not vaccinated.The positivity rate stands at 2.49%. Total deaths rose to 762 and cases to 283.458.
The deceased is a female 78 year old who passed away yesterday. Of the 198 patients, 47 are in serious condition (4 are in an ICU, 14 are intubated and 29 in an ACU).
Moreover 28 post-COVID patients who are no longer infectious are still intubated and getting treatment in an ICU.
A total of 113,030 tests were carried out today of which 6,586 PCR tests and 441 positive cases were detected (positivity rate 6.7%). The total rapid tests were 106,444 of which 2,374 came back positive (positivity rate 2.23%).
