According to Cyprus News Agency, President Christodoulides highlighted Trump's unique negotiating advantage due to his forthrightness in global affairs. He also reflected on Cyprus' recent presidency of the European Union's council, which aimed to strengthen ties between Europe, the Eastern Mediterranean, and the Middle East.
Christodoulides expressed concerns over the Cyprus problem, attributing the lack of progress to Turkish President Erdogan's stance, while noting cooperation among other regional nations and the United States.
