Cyprus President, Nicos Anastasiades, and King of Jordan, Abdullah II, highlighted the excellent relations between Cyprus and Jordan, during a private meeting they had on Friday evening, at the Presidential Palace, in the framework of Abdullah`s official visit to Cyprus.
A press release, issued by the Presidency, noted that during the meeting, Anastasiades underlined the excellent level of bilateral relations and the common will to further deepen them.
On his part, addressing the President, the King of Jordan told him that “I am aware of your leadership, I always follow it within the EU and on the issues concerning the Mediterranean and the particularly friendly relations between our two countries.
