Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has released its latest forecast for the sea area surrounding Cyprus, outlining the weather conditions expected from noon on April 28, 2025, to noon on April 29, 2025. The forecast covers an area extending eight kilometers seawards from the coastline.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the atmospheric pressure at the time of the forecast issuance was recorded at 1012 hPa. The weather is anticipated to be predominantly fine, although there will be periods of increased cloud coverage in certain localities. As the night progresses into dawn, there is a risk of local mist forming, which could impact visibility.
Visibility during this period is expected to remain generally good, but it may deteriorate to moderate or poor levels in areas affected by mist. The sea surface temperature is recorded at 19°C, and there are no current warnings issued for the area. The forecast indicates that winds will be measured using the Beaufort scale, adhering to local time standards.
