Cyprus House sets up group that will participate in the 3+1 Interparliamentary Dialogue

The Cyprus House has finalized its group that will participate in the 3+1 Interparliamentary Dialogue (Cyprus, Greece, Israel + the US). The group will comprise members of three House parliamentary committees.

According to a House press release, Democratic Rally MPs Harris Georgiades and Nicos Tornaritis, AKEL-Left-New Forces MPs George Loukaides and Aristos Damianou and Democratic Party MPs Nicholas Papadopoulos and Christiana Erotokritou will participate in the group.

The 3+1 Interparliamentary Cooperation, among the House of Representatives, the Hellenic Parliament, Knesset and the US Congress is a follow up of the cooperation among the Republic of Cyprus, the Hellenic Republic, the State of Israel and the US, at the governmental level.

The first meeting of the four parliamentary groups, in the framework of the 3+1 Interparliamentary Cooperation is scheduled to take place in 2022, either online or by physical presence in Washington. The six-member Congress groups includes Senator Robert Menendez.
