The second Cypriot mission which arrived in Greece on Friday to replace the first Cypriot mission which participated in efforts to extinguish the raging wildfires operates on Saturday in the Soufli area of Evros, according to Cyprus’ Fire Service press officer Andreas Kettis.
In a post platform X, Kettis noted that the members of the second Cypriot mission are supporting “a response team from Crete and with the motorized equipment, which they have, are active in firefighting with installations of water pipes, securing areas and conducting demarcations’.
