Nicosia: Cyprus is witnessing a range of weather temperatures across its different regions, with notable variations between high and low temperatures throughout the day.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the Department of Meteorology provided detailed insights into the weather conditions for today, offering temperature readings and humidity levels from various locations on the island.
In the capital, Nicosia, temperatures reached a high of 15 degrees Celsius with a low of 5 degrees Celsius, and humidity was recorded at 39% at 1200 UTC. Larnaka Airport reported a higher temperature, with a peak of 18 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 9 degrees Celsius, alongside a humidity level of 45%.
Limassol experienced similar high temperatures of 18 degrees Celsius at the New Port and slightly lower readings at the Municipal Garden, at 16 degrees Celsius. The low temperatures were 9 degrees Celsius and 8.9 degrees Celsius, respectively, with humidity at the New Port recorded at 38%.
At Pafos Airport, the temperatures ranged from a high of 17 degrees Celsius to a low of 14 degrees Celsius, with humidity reaching 46%. Frenaros also saw a temperature high of 16 degrees Celsius and a low of 9 degrees Celsius, with the humidity level matching that of Larnaka Airport at 45%.
Prodromos presented the coldest conditions, with temperatures only reaching 5 degrees Celsius at their highest and dropping to 1 degree Celsius, while the humidity was significantly higher at 65%. In contrast, Polis Pafos recorded a more moderate temperature range, with a high of 16 degrees Celsius and a low of 13 degrees Celsius, and a humidity level of 51%.
These figures highlight the diverse weather patterns experienced across Cyprus, reflecting the unique climatic conditions of each region.
