Nicosia: Cyprus observed a wide range of temperatures across its different regions, with significant variations between the highest and lowest temperatures recorded.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the Department of Meteorology reported that in Nicosia (Athalassa), the highest temperature reached 16°C, while the lowest dipped to 1°C.
In other regions, Larnaka Airport recorded a high of 18°C and a low of 4°C, while Limassol (New Port) experienced similar temperatures with a high of 18°C and a low of 5°C. Limassol (Municipal Garden) saw slightly lower temperatures, recording a high of 17.8°C and a low of 3.9°C.
Pafos Airport matched Larnaka with a high of 18°C but reported a slightly higher low of 7°C. Frenaros also experienced a high of 18°C but cooled down to a low of 4°C. In contrast, the mountainous region of Prodromos observed significantly colder temperatures, with a high of 6°C and a low of -1°C. Meanwhile, Polis Pafos reported a high of 18°C and a low of 8°C.
Humidity levels varied as well, with Prodromos experiencing the highest at 73% and Polis Pafos the lowest at 53%. These variations underline the diverse climatic conditions experienced across Cyprus during this period.
