The average gross monthly earnings of employees during the fourth quarter of 2023, amounted to pound 2,693 compared to pound 2,535 during the fourth quarter of 2022, recording an increase of 6.2%, according to provisional data published by the Statistical Service of Cyprus on Tuesday.
The average gross monthly earnings during the fourth quarter of 2023, seasonally adjusted, are estimated at pound 2,402 and compared to the third quarter of 2023 they are increased by 1.6%.
The average gross monthly earnings of male employees during the fourth quarter of 2023 are estimated at pound 2,884 and of female employees at pound 2,452.
Compared to the fourth quarter of 2022, the average gross monthly earnings of male and female employees recorded an increase of 6.7% and 5.5% respectively.
