ANKARA: At least 10 people were killed and 30 others injured when a bus fell into a ravine in the Lumbini Zone of southern Nepal, local media said on Thursday. The accident occurred in the Shivaraj municipality of the Kapilvastu district located some over 300 kilometers (186 miles) from the capital Kathmandu, Kathmandu Post reported. The bus was heading from Mahendranagar to Kathmandu when it fell some 200 meters (656 feet) down at midnight. The injured were shifted to a local hospital. Hari Bahadur Oli, the deputy superintendent of police in the district said a Nepal army soldier and an Indian national were also among the deceased. Source: Anadolu Agency
