Nicosia: The Department of Meteorology has issued a yellow warning as of Tuesday evening for adverse weather conditions, including rain, isolated thunderstorms, and strong winds. The warning is set to remain in effect from 2200 on Tuesday until 2200 on Wednesday.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the Department of Meteorology has indicated that the island, particularly the coastal and mountainous regions, will experience a combination of rain, isolated thunderstorms, and strong winds reaching force 6 to 7 on the Beaufort scale. Additionally, there is a likelihood of hail during thunderstorms.
The Department has further noted that total precipitation is expected to locally exceed 55 millimeters over a 24-hour period, prompting residents and visitors to remain cautious and informed about the evolving weather situation.
