The warning is valid from 13:30 to 16:00, during which inland areas are expected to experience temperatures reaching approximately 40 degrees Celsius. According to Cyprus News Agency, residents in the affected areas are advised to take necessary precautions to avoid heat-related illnesses. The agency suggests staying hydrated, avoiding outdoor activities during peak hours, and ensuring vulnerable groups such as the elderly and young children are protected from the heat. The public is also encouraged to check on neighbors and family members who may be at risk during the heatwave.
