The Department of Meteorology has issued a yellow warning for thunderstorms, for Sunday.
The warning is valid from 1200 until 1700 local time.
Isolated heavy thunderstorms are expected to affect mainly the mountainous areas, and the eastern half of the island, it reads.
Hail is also likely, while winds may be variable in strength, it adds.
Precipitation rate is expected to range between 35 and 55 millimeters per hour.
