Nicosia: The Department of Meteorology issued a yellow warning for isolated thunderstorms on Sunday: The warning is in place from 11.00 until 20.00 (local time) today. According to Cyprus News Agency, isolated thunderstorms are expected to initially affect the western, northern, and southern parts of the island, with other areas being impacted later in the day. During these storms, precipitation rates may temporarily exceed 35 millimeters per hour. Additionally, there is a likelihood of hail in some areas.
