Nicosia: A yellow warning for high temperatures inland on Monday afternoon was issued by the Department of Meteorology on Sunday. The Department said that the maximum temperature is expected to reach around 40 degrees Celsius over some inland areas. The warning will be in effect from 14:00 to 17:00 on Monday.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the Department of Meteorology has advised residents and visitors in the affected areas to take necessary precautions to avoid heat-related health issues. The warning serves as an alert for potential heat stress, particularly for vulnerable groups such as the elderly and young children.
