Baku:The Department of Meteorology has issued a yellow warning for thunderstorms expected on Wednesday. The warning is scheduled to be in effect from 0200 until 1800 on October 28.

According to Cyprus News Agency, intense thunderstorms are anticipated to initially impact the western half of the island intermittently, before spreading to other areas from midday onwards. The Department of Meteorology predicts rainfall intensity will range between 35 and 55 millimeters per hour, with the possibility of hail.

Additionally, during these thunderstorms, wind gusts may occasionally reach levels 7 to 8 on the Beaufort scale.
