Nicosia: Winter time came into effect on Sunday, as clocks were moved back one hour, from 04:00 to 03:00, marking the end of the summer time period for the year 2025. This adjustment is made every year, within the framework of seasonal clock changes, and is applied in all member states of the European Union.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the relevant Decree published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Cyprus on July 9, 2021, outlined that the summer time period for 2025 began on Sunday, March 30, and ended on October 26.
