CYPRUS: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a forecast for the sea area of Cyprus, indicating that low pressure is currently affecting the region. This weather pattern is expected to result in cloudy conditions with isolated showers and thunderstorms, primarily impacting the southern and eastern parts of the area.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the forecast covers an 8-kilometer area seawards, with winds measured on the Beaufort scale and warnings issued for variable winds during storms. The atmospheric pressure recorded at the time of the forecast was 1014 hPa. During periods of showers, visibility is anticipated to decrease from good to moderate or poor. Despite these conditions, no warnings have been issued for the region. The sea surface temperature stands at 24°C, with dust expected to be suspended in the air.
