Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a forecast for the sea area of Cyprus, indicating that low atmospheric pressure is affecting the region, leading to cloudy weather at times. Despite the overcast conditions, visibility remains good, and the sea surface temperature is recorded at 20°C. There are no warnings currently in place for the area.

According to Cyprus News Agency, the west coast will experience varying wind conditions throughout the forecast period. During the night, winds will be northwest to north at a speed of 5, gradually decreasing to 4, with the sea state ranging from moderate to rough, eventually becoming moderate. In the morning, winds will shift to west to northwest at speeds of 4, occasionally reaching 4 to 5, resulting in a slight to moderate sea state. By the afternoon, winds are expected to be west to northwest at speeds of 4 to 5, with local areas experiencing winds of 5, maintaining a slight to moderate sea state.

The south coast is forecasted to have southwest to northwest winds at 5, gradually decreasing to 4 during the night, resulting in a moderate sea state that will eventually ease to slight to moderate. In the morning, winds will be from the southwest to west at 4 to 5, maintaining a slight to moderate sea state. By afternoon, winds are expected to be southwest to west at 4, occasionally reaching 4 to 5, with a slight to moderate sea state.

On the east coast, the night will bring southwest to northwest winds at 5, gradually decreasing to 4, with a moderate sea state easing to slight to moderate. In the morning, the winds will shift to southwest to west at 4, occasionally reaching 4 to 5, resulting in a slight sea state. During the afternoon, winds will be southwest to west at 4, locally shifting to northwest at 4, maintaining a slight sea state.

The north coast will experience southwest to northwest winds at 5, gradually decreasing to 4 during the night, with a moderate to rough sea state easing to moderate. In the morning, winds will be west to northwest at 4, occasionally reaching 4 to 5, resulting in a slight to moderate sea state. By the afternoon, winds are expected to be southwest to west at 4 to 5, with local areas experiencing winds of 5, leading to a slight to moderate sea state.
