Athens: Cyprus President Nikos Christodoulides has arrived in Athens to participate in a defense industry conference and hold crucial meetings with key officials. Prior to this, he was in Yerevan attending the European Political Community Summit.
According to Cyprus News Agency, President Christodoulides is scheduled to address the DEFEA (Defence Exhibition Athens) Defense Industry Conference on Tuesday morning. His agenda in Athens includes a bilateral meeting with Greece's Minister of National Defense Nikos Dendias. Additionally, he will meet with European Commissioner for Defense Andrius Kubilius to discuss Cyprus's EU Presidency actions concerning defense matters.
President Christodoulides is accompanied by a delegation that includes the Minister of Defense Vassilis Palmas, Deputy Government Spokesperson Yiannis Antoniou, and other officials, highlighting the significance of this visit.
