Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a forecast for the sea area of Cyprus indicating that weak low-pressure conditions are affecting the region. The weather is expected to remain mainly fine during the forecast period from 1800 on May 28, 2025, until 1800 on May 29, 2025. However, there is a likelihood of local mist, fog patches, and increased low cloud during the night and early morning hours.
According to Cyprus News Agency, visibility in the affected areas will generally be good, but it may become moderate to poor in mist and very poor in fog. The sea surface temperature is recorded at 22°C, and no warnings have been issued for this period. The atmospheric pressure at the time of the forecast’s issue was 1008 hPa (hectopascal), indicating the presence of weak low pressure in the area.
