Weak Low Pressure System to Affect Cyprus Sea Area

Nicosia: Weak low pressure is gradually affecting the sea area of Cyprus, as forecasted by the Cyprus Department of Meteorology. The forecast, covering an 8-kilometer range seawards, anticipates increased high and medium cloud coverage today and tonight.

According to Cyprus News Agency, the atmospheric pressure at the time of the forecast issuance was recorded at 1019 hPa. Despite the presence of cloud coverage, visibility in the area remains good, and no warnings have been issued. The sea surface temperature is reported to be 19°C.

The forecast period spans from 1200 on February 15, 2025, until 1200 on February 16, 2025, with winds measured using the Beaufort scale. Local times are used in the reporting of this forecast.
