Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a forecast for the sea area of Cyprus, predicting weak low pressure conditions from 1800 on April 30, 2026, until 1800 on May 1, 2026. The forecast covers an area extending 8 kilometers seawards and highlights the presence of locally increased cloud cover. During the morning and night, local mist and fog patches are anticipated, which may affect visibility.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the atmospheric pressure at the time of the forecast issuance was recorded at 1013 hPa (hectopascal). While visibility is generally expected to be good, it will reduce to moderate or poor in areas affected by mist. The sea surface temperature is measured at 19°C. No warnings have been issued for the period, indicating that conditions are not expected to pose significant hazards.
