Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a forecast for the sea area of Cyprus, predicting mainly fine weather with some local cloud coverage. The forecast, which is valid from 1200 on April 27, 2026, until 1200 on April 28, 2026, covers an area extending 8 kilometers seawards from the coast.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the region is experiencing weak low pressure, leading to locally increased cloud coverage during the day. At night, the area is expected to have increased low cloud coverage and possibly local mist, which may affect visibility, making it moderate to poor in misty conditions. Despite these conditions, no warnings have been issued for the area.
The atmospheric pressure at the time of the forecast's issuance was recorded at 1013 hPa, and the sea surface temperature is currently 19°C. The wind conditions are measured using the Beaufort scale, but no significant changes in wind strength have been noted.
