Weak Low Pressure Brings Cloud Coverage and Light Showers to Cyprus Sea Area

Larnaca: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a weather forecast for the sea area surrounding Cyprus, predicting weak low pressure conditions over the region. The forecast, which covers an 8-kilometer stretch seawards, indicates that residents and visitors can expect increasing cloud coverage and isolated light rain showers, particularly in the evening.

According to Cyprus News Agency, the forecast predicts that medium and high clouds will be more prevalent during the evening, with isolated light rain showers. The conditions are expected to persist into the night and the following morning, with increased high cloud coverage. The west and north areas are likely to experience more significant low cloud coverage. Additionally, dust in suspension is anticipated, though visibility remains good.

The atmospheric pressure at the time of the forecast issuance is 1010 hPa, with the sea surface temperature recorded at 20°C. No weather warnings have been issued for this period.
