Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a forecast for the sea area of Cyprus, indicating changes in weather conditions over the coming days. Currently, a weak high-pressure system is temporarily influencing the area but is expected to be replaced by a low-pressure system named Erminio.
According to Cyprus News Agency, Erminio is projected to affect the region starting tomorrow. This evening, an increase in local cloud coverage is anticipated, transitioning to cloudy weather overnight. By tomorrow morning, the northern and western parts of Cyprus may experience isolated showers, with the possibility of an isolated thunderstorm.
Visibility in the area is expected to be poor, occasionally dropping to very poor levels. The sea surface temperature is currently recorded at 19°C. Despite these conditions, no warnings have been issued for the forecast period.
