Weak High Pressure Brings Varied Weather to Cyprus Sea Area

Limassol: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a forecast for the sea area of Cyprus, predicting varied weather conditions over an 8-kilometer offshore range. The forecast, valid from noon on February 2, 2025, to noon on February 3, 2025, indicates that weak high pressure is currently affecting the area.

According to Cyprus News Agency, the weather during the afternoon is expected to remain mainly fine. However, the forecast notes a shift tonight, with mainly cloudy skies due to high clouds. There is also a likelihood of locally increased low cloud coverage, which could lead to mist and fog patches, particularly over the southeastern coasts of Cyprus.

Visibility is predicted to be good; however, it may reduce to moderate or poor conditions in areas experiencing mist. The sea surface temperature is recorded at 19°C. Notably, there are no warnings issued for the forecast period.
