Weak High Pressure Brings Stable Weather to Cyprus Sea Area

Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has released a forecast predicting stable weather conditions for the sea area of Cyprus. The forecast, covering the period from 1200 on February 19, 2026, to 1200 on February 20, 2026, indicates that weak high pressure is currently affecting the region, resulting in mainly fine weather.

According to Cyprus News Agency, the atmospheric pressure at the time of the forecast's issuance was recorded at 1019 hPa. Visibility in the area is expected to remain good throughout the forecast period. The sea surface temperature is noted to be 18°C, which is typical for the region during this time of year.

No warnings have been issued for the forecast period, suggesting calm and predictable conditions for those navigating the sea area around Cyprus.
