Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a forecast for the sea area of Cyprus, indicating that weak high pressure is currently influencing the region. The forecast, covering an area extending 8 kilometers seawards, predicts mainly fine weather with some localized increases in cloud coverage during the afternoon.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the atmospheric pressure at the time of the forecast issuance is recorded at 1020 hPa. Winds in the area are measured using the Beaufort scale, and the visibility is expected to remain good throughout the forecast period. The sea surface temperature is noted to be 18°C.
The department has not issued any warnings, suggesting stable weather conditions in the area for the period from 1200 on March 8, 2026, until 1200 on March 9, 2026.
