We will confront the Turkish intransigence and offensive attitude by standing together and being united, based on the international law and the EU principles and values, Cyprus Presidential Commissioner, Photis Photiou said on Saturday, adding that we will continue the struggle aiming to liberate and reunite Cyprus.

In a speech during a memorial service for the youngest hero of the EOKA 1955-1959 anti-colonial struggle, Demetrakis Demeteriades, that took place in Larnaca, Photiou said that we must continue to fight based on the international law, as it is stipulated in the UN decisions and resolutions, and on the EU principles and values, without being defeated by any difficulties and problems.
