Nicosia: The Government continues with the same sense of responsibility, President of the Republic of Cyprus Nikos Christodoulides stressed, referring to the upgrade of the Republic of Cyprus's credit rating by Scope Ratings. In a post on 'X', the President noted that the rating agency upgraded the Republic of Cyprus' long-term local- and foreign-currency issuer and senior unsecured debt ratings to A from A-.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the President emphasized that the government remains steadfast in its commitment to maintaining fiscal responsibility. 'We continue with the same responsibility. Above all, Cyprus,' the President wrote, highlighting the significance of the credit rating upgrade for the nation.
