Warm Air Mass Influences Cyprus Sea Area, Low Clouds Expected at Night

Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a forecast for the sea area of Cyprus, indicating that a seasonal low-pressure system and warm air mass are impacting the region. The forecast, covering an area extending 8 kilometers seawards, predicts mainly fine weather conditions.

According to Cyprus News Agency, the forecast period spans from 1800 on July 22, 2025, until 1800 on July 23, 2025. During this time, increased low cloud cover is anticipated during the night and early morning hours, posing a risk of local mist or fog patches, particularly over the southeastern areas. The visibility is expected to remain good overall, although it may become moderate to poor in misty conditions and very poor in areas affected by fog.

The atmospheric pressure at the time of the forecast issuance was recorded at 1005 hPa. The sea surface temperature in the area is reported to be 27°C. No weather warnings have been issued for the given period.
