Nicosia:A low-pressure system combined with an unstable airmass is affecting the weather over the coastal areas of Cyprus, resulting in mainly cloudy conditions with local showers and isolated thunderstorms.

According to Cyprus News Agency, these weather conditions are expected to persist tonight and into tomorrow morning, particularly impacting the west and north coastal areas where isolated showers and thunderstorms are likely. In stormy areas, winds may become variable and strengthen to 5-6 on the Beaufort scale, with stronger gusts.

Visibility in the affected areas will generally be good but could become moderate to poor during showers. The sea surface temperature is currently 27°C, and no warnings have been issued for the region.
