Nicosia:The University of Cyprus is set to introduce a series of new English-taught undergraduate programs, marking a pivotal development in its educational offerings. The announcement will take place during a press conference, highlighting the institution's effort to enhance its international profile and attract a diverse student body from both Cyprus and abroad.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the programs to be unveiled include a Doctor of Medicine (MD), Bachelor in Business Administration with specializations in Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Operations Management, and Management. Additionally, degrees in Economics focusing on Economic Theory and Econometrics or International and European Economic Studies will be offered, as well as a YUFE Bachelor in Urban Sustainability Studies.
The press conference will be conducted in Greek, with English translations and additional information available upon request. This initiative is part of the university's strategic plan to expand its educational reach and international collaboration. A reception will follow the presentation.
The event is scheduled for Monday, 19 October 2026, from 1030 to 1130, at the Council-Senate Conference Room 115 in the 'Anastasios G. Leventis' Building on the university campus.
