Nicosia: The Turnover Value Index of Wholesale Trade during the third quarter of 2025 recorded an increase of 4.8% compared to the corresponding quarter of the previous year, according to data published by the Statistical Service on Monday.
According to Cyprus News Agency, compared to the same quarter of 2024, the largest increase was recorded in wholesale of information and communication equipment at 17.9%, followed by non-specialized wholesale trade at 10.8%. Conversely, the largest drop was noted in wholesale on a fee or contract basis, which decreased by 5.1%.
For the same quarter, the Turnover Value Index of Sales and Repair of Motor Vehicles showed an increase of 7.6% compared to the corresponding quarter of the previous year. Notably, the largest increase within this sector was recorded in the sale of motor vehicles at 10.5%.
