Renewed investment by the European Union in the Southern Neighbourhood countries (Middle East and Northern Africa) will reinforce stability in the EU, President Anastasiades tweeted right before the break that preceded the dinner of the leaders during Thursday’s summit in Brussels.
“Strongly believe that EU renewed investment in southern neighbours -Israel, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Palestine, Libya, Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia- will reinforce EU stability, including energy security and migration” the President wrote.
