Fyti: Students from Agios Neophytos Lyceum on Saturday presented their school enterprise "Heritage Weave" in the community of Fyti, showcasing handmade fashion items such as bags and jewellery inspired by the traditional woven textiles of the village. The initiative was carried out as part of the Junior Achievement Cyprus "Student Enterprise" programme, which encourages young people to develop entrepreneurial skills through innovative ideas.
According to Cyprus News Agency, drawing on elements of Cypriot folk art, the students reinterpret traditional designs through a contemporary aesthetic, offering products that meet the demands of the modern market, a relevant announcement says.
