Nicosia: The government's social and development policy continues without any hurdles and delays, said Finance Minister Makis Keravnos on Wednesday following the approval of the 2026 state budget by the House of Representatives plenary.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the Minister described the approval as significant in his statements to the press and expressed gratitude to the House Finance Committee for its diligent work and close cooperation within a very tight time frame.
Keravnos conveyed his satisfaction with the budget's approval and extended thanks to all parliamentary parties. He acknowledged that even those who did not vote in favor contributed valuable criticism. He emphasized that such criticism is crucial for the government, which values all positive suggestions and learns from experience.
He further highlighted that economic growth continues, indicating that the government's policy is on track.
