Brussels: Deputy Minister of Shipping Marina Hadjimanolis will participate in an EU Transport Council on Thursday, in Brussels and will also hold a series of bilateral meetings with her counterparts from EU member states.
According to Cyprus News Agency, during the Council meeting, Hadjimanolis will take part in a discussion concerning the adoption of global measures for the decarbonisation of shipping, and will present the work programme of the Cyprus Presidency of the EU Council regarding maritime transport issues.
During her visit, the Deputy Minister will also hold a series of bilateral meetings with her counterparts from other EU member states, including Denmark, which currently holds the Presidency of the Council, as well as Ireland, which will assume the Presidency of the Council on 1 July 2026.
