The ship “Jennifer”, which had sailed to Gaza from Larnaca to deliver humanitarian aid, will return to Cyprus within the next two days.
According to CNA information, the ship is returning together with the two support vessels that accompanied it when it left Cyprus. However there is not until now confirmation on the exact volume of the cargo it is carrying.
It is recalled that the ships departed on Saturday afternoon from the port of Larnaca and arrived at their destination on Monday afternoon, carrying 332 tonnes of humanitarian aid and auxiliary equipment.
The non-governmental organization “World Central Kitchen” announced on Tuesday that it is suspending its activities following the death of seven of its members following a strike in Gaza by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) against vehicles of the organization.
