Cyprus' participation in the Mediterranean Games concluded on Wednesday, with Marios Georgiou winning gold in the horizontal bar and silver in the parallel bars, while Neofytos Kyriakou claimed bronze in the horizontal bar. According to Cyprus News Agency, Marios Georgiou has won a total of nine medals at the Mediterranean Games, becoming the most decorated Cypriot athlete in the history of the Games. With four gold medals, Georgiou also became the first Cypriot athlete to achieve this feat.
