Seasonal Low Pressure Influences Cyprus Weather with Localized Cloud Coverage

Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a weather forecast indicating that the sea area around Cyprus will experience mainly fine weather conditions, with some local increases in low cloud coverage during the specified period from 0600 on July 10, 2025, to 0600 on July 11, 2025.

According to Cyprus News Agency, the atmospheric pressure recorded at the time of the forecast was 1003 hPa, suggesting the presence of a seasonal low-pressure system affecting the region. This system is expected to lead to mainly clear skies, although there may be instances of increased cloud cover in certain areas.

During the night and early morning hours, the forecast suggests the potential for local mist formation, particularly over the southern and eastern coastal regions, which could reduce visibility from good to moderate or poor. The current sea surface temperature is recorded at 26°C, consistent with the region’s typical summer climate.

Importantly, no weather warnings have been issued in connection with this forecast, indicating stable conditions overall. Residents and visitors are advised to remain informed of any updates that may arise during the forecast period.
