Seasonal Low Pressure Influences Cyprus Sea Weather

Nicosia: Cyprus Department of Meteorology has released the forecast for the sea area of Cyprus, highlighting the influence of a seasonal low-pressure system and warm air mass over the region. The forecast covers the period from 1200 hours on July 22, 2025, to 1200 hours on July 23, 2025, extending up to 8 kilometers seawards.

According to Cyprus News Agency, the atmospheric pressure recorded at the time of release was 1007 hPa. The weather is expected to be primarily fine, although there is a possibility of increased low cloud during night and dawn, particularly over southeastern areas. This could lead to local mist or fog patches, affecting visibility. While visibility is generally good, it may drop to moderate or poor in mist and become very poor in fog.

The sea surface temperature is recorded at 27°C, with no warnings currently in effect. Wind conditions will be measured on the Beaufort scale, with all times stated as local times.
