Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a forecast for the sea area of Cyprus, detailing weather conditions expected from midday on June 23, 2025, to midday on June 24, 2025. The forecast covers an area extending 8 kilometers seawards around Cyprus, with local times applied throughout the report.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the forecast indicates that a seasonal low-pressure system is influencing the region. The weather is expected to remain mainly fine, though there will be periods of increased cloud coverage, particularly in the afternoon. During the early morning hours, there is a likelihood of increased low cloud coverage along with local mist or fog patches, which could affect visibility.
Visibility is generally anticipated to be good; however, it may reduce to moderate or poor levels in mist, and become very poor in fog. The sea surface temperature is recorded at 25°C, and there are no warnings currently issued for the forecast period. Atmospheric pressure at the time of the forecast’s issuance was noted to be 1007 hPa.
