Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a forecast for the sea area of Cyprus, predicting mainly fine weather with some local increases in low cloud coverage. The forecast covers an 8-kilometer area seawards and is valid from 1200 on July 29, 2025, until 1200 on July 30, 2025.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the region is currently experiencing the effects of seasonal low pressure. This atmospheric condition is expected to bring local mist and a risk of fog patches during the night and early morning hours, particularly over the southern and eastern parts of the area. Despite these conditions, visibility is expected to remain good, although it may become moderate to poor in mist and very poor in fog.
The sea surface temperature is reported to be 27°C, and there are no warnings in place for the forecast period. The atmospheric pressure at the time of the forecast issue was recorded at 1004 hPa. The winds in the area are measured using the Beaufort scale, and all times referenced in the forecast are local times.
