Nicosia: The Turnover Value Index of Retail Trade for February 2026 saw an increase of 3.3% compared to the same month in the previous year, as reported by the Statistical Service on Thursday. This growth highlights a positive trend in retail trade activities.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the Turnover Volume Index of Retail Trade also experienced a rise, with a 4.1% increase compared to February 2025. This indicates a notable expansion in the retail sector's volume of sales.
In the first two months of 2026, the Turnover Value Index of Retail Trade surged by 5.9% compared to the same period in 2025. Additionally, the Turnover Volume Index of Retail Trade during January and February 2026 increased by 6.8% when compared to the corresponding months of the previous year.
